Razor Sharp Lines from Wu-Tang's Best Tracks In 1993, my entire view of the hip hop world was completely rocked. Wu-Tang Clan, whose name alone was completely different than anything the scene had previously known, released Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). It was one of those albums that you had to hear a dozen times through to even try to understand. Rhyme schemes were redefined, language barriers were broken, the whole definition of hip-hop rap style was destroyed (as in broken down and reconstructed in a new, fresh, refined and different manner). Wu-Tang brought a new brand to the hip-hop revolution with 36 Chambers. And last time I looked, its now 2014 and you still hear Wu-Tang somewhere almost every day. That's 20+ years, over 2 decades of legacy. Wu-Tang Clan is the best thing that ever happened to hip-hop. Since that album, they haven't missed in my opinion. Wu-Tang Forever came out in 1997 and both discs were populated with timeless tracks that still crush any radio hip-hop I hear today. Later albums, both group and from the individual artists, were noted as more of an "acquired taste" by many. I'm not part of that group. I was an early adopter of the Wu's style and differentiation, and I've loved nearly every track they produce and rhyme on. RZA is a fucking genius (no pun intended on The GZA)! Wu-Tang Clan Best Lines, Best Verses and Best Songs Before I sat down to write this, I debated whether I should write about my favorite Wu-Tang Clan tracks or verses. But I'm going with my favorite lines from their tracks. All their songs are in contention for the best Wu-Tang track - that's too hard. So I'll point out some of the best lines ever, but then follow it with a few of the best verses. Wu-Tang Clan is what changed hip-hop. And broken down to the bare bones level, here is the content they spit that made them the strongest buffalo in the pack - the one that survived generations. These lines are in no particular order, but I broke them out by album. Best Lines From Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers); 1993

But everything they make crushes most of the beats and lyrics that have come out in the past. Individual solo albums, mixtapes, cameos, etc. - anywhere Wu enters a track, its like adding Adobo to the dish, you spice it up (ala Raekwon, Duck Seazon). There's hundreds of tracks with Wu members on it, so I picked out some lines and verses that just blow my mind every time I hear 'em. For my criteria, I kept this list limited to tracks that were either on a Wu-Tang clan album or one of the Clan's solo artists' albums.
