56 of your poems (and still counting)When I first built this site, my intention was just to house my work and give it to the world. For free. I don't make money here, nor am I trying to. I'm sharing what I have with you folks because it makes me feel like a better person. Based on the feedback I get from readers, it seems like I'm touching the right people with the right content. I get some facebook love, some twitter shares and lots of personal emails about my poems and blogs. Over the past year, however, something awesome happened - you guys started sending me poems. :) So I decided to expand my site a little. This page is dedicated to all you slam poets and spoken word artists out there that want to see your work live online. If you've got a slam poem that you want to put up on my site, just email it to me and I'll check it out. If it makes sense for my site, I'll post it on this page. For a little more detail on submission, check out this page. The spoken word pieces listed on this page are not mine - its not my work, not my editing, not my words. They are all from you guys. I don't change anything except the formatting to fit the site. Some are videos, some text, some audio, some a combination. Hope you enjoy this and I hope it inspires you all to keep creating some great slam poetry!! ...Late update: I am SO FUCKING PROUD of this page. I never thought, when I built this site, that I'd ever get a reader. Now I am getting about 500+ site visitors per day and I'm getting emails from you guys all the time. It gives me inspiration to write more to help you all more. Keep the poems coming - I'll get them up here as fast as I can.
