"Fading Generation"

A Spoken Word Piece from "Tarebear the Writer"

This was written and performed by a reader of Digital Poet; she goes by tarebear the writer (love that!)

I love pieces like this. It shows me that nothing matters in slam poetry - generations, gender, how many times you've been on stage, where you come from, what you talk about...it's all washed away in words. Tarebear doesn't have a professional production; she's not part of a national poetry slam entity - she's just someone with the love for words AND A MESSAGE! And she's got the audience wrapped around her finger here. I've said this before, but part of what makes a performance great is knowing your audience and then speaking to them with a piece that will resonate. She nailed it!
