This is a poem submitted by a reader of the site, Jaysenda Boyd. She was addicted to the needle and wrote this while in rehab. When I last heard, she was 9 months clean :)
poem about meth, crystal meth
Sometimes the shortest poems are the most powerful. Particularly with drug use, a lot of abstract and misguided language can retract for the message. This is a straight up poem about meth - if you've been there, you get it.

"Meth"

Pleasure and Pain,
It sounds strange.
But it always leaves you wanting more,
Your arms are sore.
But you yearn for that prick...
It's sick!
Addicted...
A instant rush. It's lust!
Always looking for a vien...
Its insane!
But its worth the pain, t
Tat heat you feel to your feet,
The cough when you know you get off.

It's dangerous!!
