Words

A spoken word poem

A.C. puts together a really nice piece in this video of him performing spoken word, digging back to first grade and bringing up the ole' line our parents used to tell us to use: whenever another kid tried to hurt our feelings: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Then he takes it to another level with "Speak slow; speak life."  He really gets into his observations of life - and this is what slam poetry is all about. Its about his perspective - what he feels, how he thinks. OK, enough of me - check him out, you won't regret it.
